New Family Information

Cub Scouts is a great program for your children to be a part of, but there's a steep learning curve. Check out the links below for some FAQs.

Want to see what it's like in-person? Check out our Pack calendar and meeting schedule on the home page.

We meet Thursday nights at 6:30 pm beginning on August 25th, 2022. The only exceptions are September and March, which have 5 weeks. We do not meet the 5th Thursday of those two months.

Our meetings are held at St. Jude's Episcopal Church (200 Partin Drive N, Niceville, FL).

Scouting is a family experience and at least one adult partner is asked to stay in the building. However, we do understand different family circumstances, especially with our military members. If you have trouble meeting the adult partner requirement, let us know and we can talk about options. We want to make sure everyone has the ability to participate while still abiding by safe scouting rules and making it an enriching experience for all.

A note on Family Scouting

It’s an exciting time to be in Scouting!

With the Scouts BSA move to serve the entire family — boys and girls alike — we have a chance to reach an entire new generation with our amazing programs

The BSA’s mission is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

We are excited that Pack 52 is open to boys and girls. By welcoming both girls and boys into our program, even more youth will have access to the character development and values-based leadership that Scouting promises.

Scouts will meet in separate, gender specific Dens three times per month. This structure will maintain a single gender program while providing a convenient opportunity for families to participate in a single Cub Scout Pack.

Pack meetings and Pack activities (camping, service projects, fundraisers) will include all Dens, boys and girls. We are committed to presenting a fun and educational Cub Scout program for boys AND girls to assist them with growing into great citizens and leaders in our community.
